Savannah, Georgia, known for its rich history and charming architecture, has long captivated visitors with tales of the supernatural. Join us as we delve into our personal haunted experiences while exploring the ghostly side of Savannah. From the Olde Pink House to Colonial Park Cemetery, the Perkins and Sons Chandlery, and the chilling encounters at the 17hundred90 Inn and Moon River Brewing Company, we encountered inexplicable incidents that left us questioning the paranormal activity within these historic locations. To learn more - make sure you listen to our episode on Savannah.
The Olde Pink House: Although we didn't have the opportunity to enter the Olde Pink House, our exploration around its perimeter was accompanied by an app called M2, which claimed to be one of the most sophisticated ghost monitoring apps available on a cell phone. Running the app's EVP function, we listened to the phone's surroundings and used its sensors to detect spiritual energy. To our surprise, the app audibly said "Approaching" and "civil" as we neared the Olde Pink House, leaving us intrigued by the potential presence of spirits.
Colonial Park Cemetery: Our visit to the Colonial Park Cemetery proved to be a spine-chilling experience. Utilizing both the M2 app and an SLS application, which used the iPhone's camera to map out apparitions as stick figures, we captured some compelling evidence. As we explored the cemetery, the SLS camera revealed apparitions leaning against gravestones. We even caught one standing next to Mike.

However, the most disturbing discovery came when we inadvertently captured the figure of a tall person hanging from a tree. This shocking image left us feeling unnerved, and we sought further information about the haunting history of this eerie tree. Let's just say - it's known as the hanging tree...

Perkins and Sons Chandlery: To explore the maritime objects stored within the walls of the Perkins and Sons Chandlery, we joined a ghost tour that led us to this intriguing location. During our brief 10-minute stay, we ran the M2 app, which surprisingly captured 10 EVPs. Although the words didn't make much sense individually, phrases like "Towel, lead, will, romantic, alive, microphone, hurry, ask, Nevada, and partner" added to the chandlery's mystique.
Further exploration around Savannah revealed additional EVPs, including puzzling phrases such as "war, black, answer, yell, toothpaste, booger, identify, Geraldine, publish, Judith, and Utah." We also captured a strange SLS image of a figure sitting in the front seat of an empty parked car.

Forsyth Park: As we strolled through Forsyth Park, known for its paranormal reputation, we received a series of seven EVPs in quick succession. This sudden increase in activity puzzled us, as previous encounters had been more spread out. The EVPs presented a string of seemingly unrelated words like "Paul, Gold, Angel, Sharlene, Visitor, Influence, and Zebra." We wondered if these words held any connection to the specific area of the park we were traversing or if they were merely random occurrences.
17hundred90 Inn: The 17hundred90 Inn, renowned for its ghostly encounters, provided us with a few unexplained incidents during our stay years back. Although we were assigned a room that wasn't officially recognized as haunted, we found ourselves immersed in a series of peculiar events. Our towels inexplicably vanished multiple times, despite no one entering our room. Additionally, my deodorant mysteriously disappeared, only to reappear untouched in a dresser drawer at the end of our trip. This shared experience with a fellow traveler added credibility to the supernatural nature of our encounters. We still talk about it to this day.
Moon River Brewing Company: While settling in at the Moon River Brewing Company, an eerie ambiance enveloped us. A swaying light at a nearby table cast unsettling shadows, and a photograph of a lady in white added to the macabre atmosphere. Though no extraordinary occurrences took place, a lingering feeling of being watched and an unexplained touch against our ankles left us questioning the unseen forces at play within the brewery.
Our exploration of Savannah's haunted sites exposed us to a world beyond the ordinary.
